Commercial Credit
Today, commercial credit is generally not provided to emerging growth and lower middle market companies by banks, but by alternative commercial credit firms, which may be funds, family offices, or specialty lenders. While somewhat more expensive than traditional banks, alternative credit providers provide substantially more credit and are more flexible in structure and terms than traditional banks.
